There is something inbred inside of all of us
that seeks to know about something greater than we ourselves.
Many people spend years searching for the right thing;
some never find the answer. Still yet, others get lost in
all sorts of beliefs that eventually lead to an emptiness deep
within the soul. They find those things they thought were
real, were only temporary with no lasting satisfaction.
Where are you on your journey of spiritual
search? Some of the teachings that exist today are handed
down through the years; even centuries. Surely life has
meaning. We ponder; surely my life has some meaning
greater than the day to day responsibilities and challenges.
Some philosophies tell us that that all that
we would seek for in a spiritual search can be found within.
But can we really be that complete; so complete that we can
fulfill ourselves with what is within? Other beliefs say
that we can find ourselves and a higher being within the stars.
Can the planets, their wonder, and assigned meanings really
fulfill our lives; the universe? If this were true, then
why do we keep searching.
We look to celebrities and athletes, the rich
and the famous, thinking that what they have must be what we
want from life, often attempting to fulfill our desires by
watching their lives. Still emptiness.
Finding a path to true
answers, is essential to finding happiness and peace. No,
not something that condemns us for our wrongs. It is a
path of love. Not humanitarian love; yes, that is
important. It is the love from something more that is
everlasting and never fades. It is a place of power, but
not the power of man. Once experienced, the end of the
Spiritual Search comes, and
Spiritual Growth, begins.
